Now we are ready to install and play around with the software

After you’ve installed the app, go ahead and follow the setup wizard guide to register the app.
Partners will need separate user account before you can play together.

2.Pairing

With Mobile Device

-Turn on your device (A blinking green light means it’s ready to pair)
-Open the Body Chat app
-Select “Toy” and add your toy
-After the device is found, press “Done”
-A solid green light means the toy is connected
Note: you will only need to perform pairing for the first time. Body Chat will automatically find your device in the future.

With Mac or PC

-Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.

For PC
-Double-click the Bluetooth icon, and select “Add a device”
-Select the device with the name that starts with “LVS-“ or (or “Other”) and click “Next.
-Enter the pairing code (i.e., 0000) and click “Next”

For MAC
-Select “Browse File on Device”
-Select the device with name that starts with “LVS-“ (or “Other) and click “Pair”

Open the Google Chrome browser and download the PC/MAP app here.  After the download is completed, log into the app and select “Add a toy”. You will now be able to connect with your partner via computer.

Connecting With Partner

Once the device is connected, you can sync up with your partner. Make sure both of you are sign-into your user account. One of you can now send an invitation out to the other party on the page “People” tap the “+” sign.

Enter your partner’s account name and send out the invitation. Now from the other device, you should a notification to accept from your partner. After accepting, both of you can see the other party.

Lumus Ltd., a leading developer of high-end transparent near-to-eye displays for augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR) and smart eyewear,announced today that it has received $15 million of funding led by Shanda Group, a global private investment group, along with Crystal-Optech, a leading Chinese photo-electric component manufacturer. Lumus will use the funding to scale up production of its market-leading, patent-protected optical technology for the emerging consumer market. Lumus develops and sells transparent displays to companies working on developing consumer and enterprise AR solutions.

The augmented and mixed reality market is predicted to grow dramatically over the next several years, according to new research from MarketsandMarkets, which asserts that the AR market will be worth $80 billion by 2022. More aggressive forecasts from DigiCapital predict an even brighter future, projecting $120 billion revenue by 2020. Growth is clearly evident today, DigiCap reports—while 2015 AR investments totaled $700 million, AR and virtual reality investment has already reached $1.1 billion during Q1 2016, a 20 percent jump from Q4 2015. “Interest in [AR] is off the charts,” Tom Mainelli of IDC writes. “Once you experience it, you realize this technology feels truly important.”

(Deluxe) announces that former Digital Domain CEO Ed Ulbrich has joined the company as President and General Manager, Deluxe Visual Effects, reporting to Deluxe CEO John Wallace. He will lead Deluxe’s Method Studios and Iloura, and unify global VFX operations to extend the scale and capabilities of services for motion pictures and advertising. Ulbrich will also drive and grow Deluxe VR, a dedicated unit leading the creation of virtual and mixed reality experiences for entertainment, communications and commerce.

Fast Travel Games closes initial seed funding round from top Nordic investors led by Sunstone Capital

Offering a fresh approach to the growing opportunities in virtual reality, Fast Travel Games launched today as a VR games studio focused on exploring the full potential of next generation VR storytelling. The founding team is comprised of games industry heavyweights from Rovio, EA and DICE who are responsible for some of the world’s most popular games from Angry Birds 2 and Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to the Battlefield series.

“We feel that VR offers limitless possibilities, and that its inherent qualities make it perfectly suited for storytelling and socially rich experiences,” said Oskar Burman, Fast Travel Games’ CEO and co-founder / ex-head of studio of Rovio Stockholm. “We’re looking to define a new genre of games for VR. He is joined by two other co-founders, Kristoffer Benjaminsson (CTO) and Erik Odeldahl (Creative Director). Benjaminsson spent the last five years in senior technical leadership roles leading up to becoming the senior development director at Frostbite Labs, the team inside EA exploring new opportunities to create breakthrough experiences like VR.

Prior to this, he was the CTO of Easy Studios and lead programmer at EA’s DICE and spent nearly a decade as a systems architect and consultant in the web and telecom spaces. Odeldahl was the design director leading the charge behind Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for EA DICE, where he spent over a decade working on most of the studio’s major titles as a designer or lead programmer. Prior to that he was a programmer across several studios working on games and other applications.

Fast Travel Games’ advisors include Mojang’s production director, Daniel Kaplan; Avalanche Studio’s founder and CCO, Christofer Sundberg; Paradox Interactive’s COO, Susana Meza Graham; and Peter Zetterberg, director on the Microsoft Minecraft team.

The company also announced that it has closed its initial seed funding round from leading Nordic investors including Sunstone Capital, recognized as one of the most active Nordic games industry investors; Mattias Miksche, a private investor with portfolio companies like Tink, Natural Cycles, Teamtailor and Fishbrain; and Mathias Ackermand, a private investor with portfolio companies like Next Games, Fishbrain, Freespee and Poppermost.

“The team’s rich history of creating hit games across mobile, AAA, multiplayer and beyond, will allow them to bring a unique blend of skills that bode well for delivering quality IP for VR. Ghostbusters: Dimension Created by The VOID VR

In Ghostbusters: Dimension, THE VOID’s proprietary hardware and software allow guests to step beyond reality and into the world of the Ghostbusters. Based on the new movie, this first-of-its-kind, Hyper-Reality experience blends real world physical environments with a unique untethered virtual reality (VR) setup that uses real-time interactive effects powered by the Unity Platform and 3D engine.

Audiences get to experience what it’s like to be a Ghostbuster, tracking and trapping a supernatural foe through a New York apartment complex. The entire experience lasts about 15 minutes, with up to three people at a time and is scheduled to open to the public at Madame Tussauds New York on July 1, 2016 as an add-on to their Ghostbusters Experience.

As Monaco approaches this weekend, he spoke to Sport360 about how he feels now his fantastic achievement has had time to sink in and what he expects for the rest of the season.

Q. Tell us how you feel now about being F1’s youngest grand prix winner. What sort of reaction have you had since last Sunday and were you expecting victory to come so early?

A. It was of course a great achievement to win. I have had a few days now to really realise what happened and yes it feels great. It’s a great feeling and achievement for the whole team I think, we took our opportunities after the crash of the Mercedes cars so I am very happy to win.

Q. How are you going to follow such a momentous weekend? Do you think you can win more races this season?

A. To be honest I will just approach every race like I always do, try to do my best and from there on see what happens. I think you have to be realistic, Mercedes is pretty fast so we just need to keep pushing and hope that’s enough to at least score some podiums.

Q. Many have spoken about your incredible maturity but do you think being so young brings additional pressure?

I think you always have pressure but for me at the moment it’s just positive pressure. I’m enjoying what I’m doing, I like to drive the car and I think if you are a happy person and you feel well in the team, you can produce the performance.

Q. What sort of feedback have you had from world champion Lewis Hamilton and former champions Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso, Kimi Raikkonen, Jenson Button, and other drivers? What sort of things have they been saying to you?

A. Well from Lewis not so much, I think he was pretty disappointed after his race. From the other guys very positive and very happy for me, which is very nice to see. Especially with Seb on the podium, he told me “Max you should go back on the podium and just celebrate it on your own”, so it was very nice to see that. There is a lot of respect between all the drivers.

Q. What did team owner Dietrich Mateschitz and Christian Horner say to you after your win? How did team-mate Daniel Ricciardo react after his unfortunate puncture on the penultimate lap which wrecked his chances?

A. Daniel was very happy for me, he said congratulations on your first victory. It was a great shame he was not there with me because I think he had a great chance to also get to the podium. Mr. Mateschitz was also very happy, you could see he was smiling a lot and also congratulated me and said we did a great job. Christian was also very happy, I think nobody really expected it but just a great achievement.

Q. Were you surprised when you replaced Daniil Kvyat in the Red Bull team?

A. I was a bit surprised it would happen in the middle of the season, but when you get that chance you take it and we have started off in a very positive way.

Q. Tell us a little bit about your childhood and when you realised you wanted to follow your father Jos into Formula One. There is often additional pressure on sons of former F1 drivers to do well. Did you feel any pressure as you made your way into F1?

A. Yes, the whole family was racing so I think it was quite obvious I would start racing. But it’s important you have to enjoy it yourself. Luckily, my parents never pushed me into it, they just let me do what I enjoyed and that was racing. It started off as a bit of fun in Go Karting and then with a lot of help from my dad we have got to Formula 1.

Q. How difficult is it to get into Formula One and apart from being quick, what is the main characteristic you need to succeed in this sport?

A. All the people in Formula 1 are very talented but talent alone is not enough, you have to work hard also to achieve the best result possible. It’s not just doing a great lap but also spending time with your engineers to improve the car, to improve yourself every time.

Q. Your dad has obviously been hugely influential in your career so far. Tell us about that and his decision to now take a step backwards from being so directly involved and let others take your career to its next level. How has the rest of your family supported you and how did they react after your win?

A. I don’t really see him taking a step backwards. We are now in a top team so there is not much more he can do. He is still there like he also was in Toro Rosso but its not really a step backwards. He advised me a lot in Go Karts and Formula 3 so for sure if it wasn’t for him I would not be here now.

Q. Apart from your father, which Formula One driver has been the biggest inspiration for you?

A. You have a lot of respect for people and their achievements in the sport but there is not one person in particular I really look up too.

Q. Who do you see as your main rival among the young drivers now coming into Formula One?

A. To be honest, I don’t really know, it depends a lot on which car they get. A lot of young drivers are very quick but you also need a good car around you to get the performance out.

Q. Red Bull have struggled a little bit over the past couple of seasons with engine issues. They are now clearly on the way back. Do you think you can now compete with Mercedes and Ferrari on a regular basis or is the world title too big an ask this season?

A. I think Mercedes is still a bit far ahead but we get some updates very soon so hopefully that will bring us a bit closer. Like you can see in Barcelona, we were fighting with Ferrari so this is already very positive. We are definitely on the way back to winning more regularly.

Q. What other sports do you enjoy and follow? Do you have any other hobbies?

A. Go Karting and basically anything with an engine on I pretty much enjoy.

Q. What music do you enjoy?

A. All different kinds of music, 90’s, pop music, dance music, rock music so pretty much anything. It depends on what kind of mood you’re in.”

Q. What is your favourite movie?

A. Step Brothers.

Q. Favourite food?

A. Carpaccio.

Q. What road car do you drive?

A. Aston Martin.

Q. Favourite holiday destination?

A. Milton Keynes…(laughs) No I haven’t found that one yet.

Q. Finally, Monaco is next up. What are your chances there?

A. We have a good chance of a podium because our car should be pretty strong there. We haven’t driven the new car there this year so I’ll just take it easy and we’ll see what happens. You need to have good feelings on the street circuit because it’s all about confidence so from there we will keep pushing and see what happens.

The Assembly Launches on Oculus Rift & HTC Vive with New Trailer and Screenshots

The Assembly, the highly anticipated story-led VR game from British studio nDreams, launches today for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive at 08:00 PDT / 11:00 EDT / 16:00 BST / 17:00 CEST on Steam and Oculus Home, priced at $29.99 / €24.99 / £19.99.  Check out our previous report on The Assembly VR!

To mark the release of their first major title, nDreams – the UK’s largest independent developer/publisher solely focused on creating virtual reality games and experiences – has issued a launch trailer that spotlights The Assembly’s thought-provoking story and tense atmosphere.  A selection of new screenshots, highlighting the game’s intricate environments, are also available to download from here.

A non-VR edition of the game will be released for Windows PC at the same time, priced at $19.99 / €19.99 / £14.99. Once purchased, owners will have the option to upgrade to the VR edition at any time in order to experience the game as originally intended.

The Assembly is an Interactive VR Story

With The Assembly, nDreams have set out to make the most convincing interactive story in VR to date by combining realistic graphics with life-like positional audio and an intuitive in-game UI. Even so, every interactive story needs a narrative that captures the player’s imagination, which is why The Assembly has been set against a backdrop of current events and real-life societal anxieties.

Today’s world, life-changing technology is being developed at a rate where laws and institutions can’t keep up. This can lead to all kinds of difficult decisions regularly being made by people on all ends of the spectrum and in The Assembly, players will need to make tough choices that have repercussions in the game. Having this as the foundation for The Assembly’s story allows the game’s creators to ask players whether it’s possible for one person to make a real difference, while also challenging their views of the Assembly and its members.

nDreams has designed The Assembly to be an ideal introduction to virtual reality, but one that gamers will still recognise as a fully-fledged videogame.
